Slicers and Panels for intuitive and flexible flitering in Vizubi
Tired of smoke-ware that looks great but takes a PhD. in computer science to use or simply can’t do what you want? Move on to truly self-service business intelligence software.
Filtering data is one of the most basic tasks in data analysis. It should be easy, intuitive and user-configurable. Instead in most products your panels have to be created individually for each report, and it takes a call to IT to modify them; and let’s not even talk about maintenance of this stuff.
With Vizubi, slicers and panels are created for the entire database and can be used on any report in the database.
Vizubi will create panels for each table you import if you want; you can also create custom slicers and panels which correspond to your specific needs. Any field can be put into any slicer, and single slicers can be put into as many panels as you want. Panels can contain as many slicers as you like, and field values in slicers can be viewed in grid or list mode for easy access to the filters you want.

Save frequently used filters and apply them with a single click
You’ve filtered your report to show some important information and you realize that you’d like to filter other reports in the same way.
Most BI applications force you to create the filter from scratch for each report.
Bookmarks in Vizubi let you save useful filters and apply them over and over again to any report in your database.
Bookmarks can be applied in addition to currently applied filters in your report or they can be set to simply replace the current filters applied to the report.
For example, you want to see performance over time for a specific set of countries. Then you want to see how specific categories of products sold in that set of countries. When some interesting result comes up, create a bookmark. You can then apply that same set of filters to other reports.
You can even set your favorites so that they are always at the top of the list and ready to use.

Get to the heart of the matter with drilldown
You’re analyzing purchasing seasonality and product rotation and you notice unusual information for products in warehouses in a certain region. You want to take a look at more detailed information but you want to keep your high level view as well. Stuck. Not if you have Vizubi.
Vizubi drill down lets you open reports or database tables from within a report and then publish them to an Excel table maintaining the filters applied to the original report. This lets you create hierarchies of reports which can progressively get you to greater levels of detail. When you like what you see, export the data to a table in Excel so you can see both the detailed information and the high level view that you started with.
Filter data without leaving the report
The intelligent part of business intelligence is people. So we make people shaped software, so you don’t have to be a software shaped person to use it. With Vizubi, turning data into actionable information is just one click away.
Filtering data is one of the most frequent actions when doing data analysis so in Vizubi we tried to keep it simple and intuitive. They say all roads lead to Rome (I’ve got my doubts); what I DO know is that in Vizubi, many paths can lead to the filter you want.
With Vizubi, you can filter on any value (even null values)
visible in your report just by clicking on them. You can double click to filter on a single value or select multiple values. In either case, you get instant filters.
You can save filters you think will be useful to use in the future as bookmarks, and you can also create panels of groups of fields you frequently want to use as filters. Our Panels display field values in easy to read grids or lists depending on what you prefer, so there’s no need to get the binoculars out to select the right checkbox.
So feel free to choose the road less traveled. Vizubi will take you where you want to go.

Change your point of view with a single click. Vizubi groups
Usually you look at the same two or three columns of a business intelligence analyses. This lets you focus on business critical information.
With Vizubi, you can use groups to rapidly switch back and forth between views and also do on the fly drill down and filtering. Groups are columns which instead of being populated with the data from one field are populated with the data from a group of fields. You can put any fieldsyou like into your groups, and a single click will cycle through the fields in the group. Double-click on a value in a “group” column, and you will both filter by the value you clicked on and cycle to the next field in the group.
You can create groups for geographic drill down with fields like Country>Region>City>Postal Code>Customer, or for drill through like Sales Territory>Product Category>Supplier.
It’s like having many reports in one.
