Detached reports save views in Excel format

You make a presentation on lean manufacturing with data about bill of materials inventory levels. Two weeks later you’re asked to present the data again. You run the reports but in the mean time, new products have been added, the bill of materials has changed, the data has been updated and the numbers are different. There’s no way to go back and the participants in the meeting have the old data. You’re up the creek.
