Vizubi high performance modelling lets you load data from Vizubi DBs

A true business intelligence solution needs to deliver up the data you need fast without putting too much load on your network and other applications. That’s why we developed Vizubi around a column oriented database engine that can load data from other Vizubi databases; loading data from Vizubi’s proprietary .ndb format is incredibly fast.

This lets you set up centralized marts where users can get to the data they need without straining the network. It also lets you easily control who sees what data. You can also put calculated columns in the mart. This further improves performance because end users will import that data already calculated.

Vizubi can load data from other Vizubi databases to create one view of reality

Excel alone is not enough to do true Business Intelligence. One of the most significant limitations is that users tend to create multiple versions of the truth as data ages, gets modified by users and is loaded from multiple sources. Then when it comes time to make a decision, everyone has great ideas but they’re all based on different information.

Vizubi lets users work in Excel, but you can create a centralized database, updated when you want. Users are free to work as they like, but you can guarantee that they’re all working with the same data so everyone is on the same page.

Save disk space by compressing data. Automatically

With Vizubi, you can automatically compress your database files to save disk space, or to share data more easily with other users.

If you’ve just bought a solid state drive, or if you need to send your Vizubi database to other users, you may need to optimize the size of your database files. With Vizubi, you can automatically compress your database every time it is saved and work directly from the compressed file. Compression can be applied to every Vizubi database you open or to specific databases.
